2018 PCP Professional Photojournalism and Documentary Photography Workshop21 - 25  NOVEMBER 2018Dingalan, Aurora Province

The Photojournalists Center of the Philippines (PCP), an organization established in 1997 by noted Filipino photojournalists working in various local and international newspapers and publications, is now accepting participants to the 13th Professional Photojournalism and Documentary Photography Workshop to be held on 21 -25 November 2018 in Dingalan, Aurora Province.

We’re looking for passionate, emerging photographers from different schools, newspapers, agencies or companies who want to hone their skills, widen their perspectives, collaborate and plan their visual storytelling.

This intensive workshop aims to raise the participants’ level of understanding of documentary photography and photojournalism trends and to enhance artistic and ethical practice of the profession.

The number of participants will be limited to 30. Instructors and facilitators include some of the top country’s photojournalists, visual storytellers and educators. The workshop has produced alumni who have made a career in photojournalism. Several participants went on to study the Diploma in Photojournalism course at the Ateneo’s Asian Center for Journalism. Other past participants went on to work in newspapers or NGOs. Majority of the workshop participants went back to their jobs armed with a better understanding of how photography and photojournalism can contribute to their places of work.

FEES & SPONSORSHIP
Subsidized workshop fee is P10,000 inclusive of food, modest accommodation, workshop materials, complementary PCP limited edition workshop t-shirt and a certificate of completion.Discounts are available to early registrants on or before October 1, 2018.

If you do not receive any confirmation within 5 working days please check if you have successfully submitted your registration to ensure your seat/participation in the workshop.

Fee is inclusive of 5D/4N modest accommodation, meals and workshop materials, limited edition workshop t-shirt and certificate of completion. Transportation to Dingalan, Aurora and back is not covered by the workshop fee.
