Philippines' photojournalists stand to uphold press freedom

The Photojournalists’ Center of the Philippines, Inc. is alarmed over the decision of the Securities and Exchange Commission to revoke the certificate of incorporation of Rappler.

We urge SEC to review its decision and come up with the most reasonable judgement.We acknowledge the regulatory power of the State over media companies in the country, however, we firmly stand with the promotion of press freedom and people's right to information.
