Organizing and Networking

  • Nationwide photo competition on “Chinese in the Philippines”, in partnership with the Macau Government Tourism Office (2009)
  • Hosting of the Asia-Europe Young Photographers Forum in Manila, August 2006. In partnership with the World Press Photo and the Asia Europe Foundation.
  • Selection of the Philippine representative to the Young Photographers Forum in HANOI sponsored by the World Press Photo Foundation and Asia-Europe Foundation (2004)
  • Selection of the Philippine representative to the Young Photographers Forum in AMSTERDAM sponsored by the World Press Photo Foundation (2003)
  • Selection of three (3) Philippine representatives to the Asean Photojournalism Workshop in Jakarta, Indonesia sponsored by the World Press Photo Foundation (2002)
  • Formation of the Photographers Development Cooperative (PHOTODEV). Members are photographers from the press, commercial and government sectors. Launched in November 1999.

  • Tan-aw Mindanao: Images Across Time – Book Publication (tie-up with Anvil Publishing) – ongoing
  • PAGTUTULUNGAN: Nationwide Photo Competition on Development Programs and Projects – in partnership with the European Union- Delegation of European Commission to the Philippines, The Podium, Canon Inc. The output of the competition will be exhibited at the Podium Mall in September and between June to September, photography and photojournalism workshops will be held.
